Have you noticed that since turning 60, your skincare routine seems to have become less effective?
The truth is, you’ve had one thing wrong for years now: After turning 60 years old, less is actually more when it comes to skincare…
Let me explain:
My name is Dr Kelly, and I’ve been a clinical dermatologist for years now.
At my practice in the south, we are no strangers to sun damage and aging skin…
That’s why I’ve successfully treated hundreds of women over 60 for issues such as:
- Fine lines and wrinkles that make you look years older…
- Sagging skin that drags down both your face (and your self-esteem)…
- Crow’s feet that make you look tired and worn…
- Dark spots that make you feel like you’re losing control of your skin…
You name it, I’ve seen it all.
So believe me when I tell you, you don’t need to waste time OR money caking on layer after layer of different products to treat your most visible(and frustrating) signs of aging.
What you need is the right product…
A product that targets your skin’s issues at their root cause!
You might be wondering how to find such a product amongst the hundreds of different options out there…
Let me share with you my top 5 picks to save your face, your time, and your money after 60.
Let’s get to it.

This is the single anti-aging serum I recommend most to my clientele…
And every woman over 60 raves about it.
Here’s why:
✔ First, it contains "multi-weighted" Hyaluronic Acid.
Hyaluronic Acid is your body's natural moisturizer. It keeps your skin plump and hydrated.
As we age, our body makes less of it. So if you want to seemingly “age backward” you need to supplement it with serums.
Unfortunately, for women over 60, just any Hyaluronic Acid won’t work.
You also need its molecules to be "multi-weighted" or in different sizes (both big and small).
Why?
Because your wrinkles are caused by decades of damage: UV damage, pollutants, and even the pile of chemicals from years of using creams and lotions.
Imagine your skin like the sink in your kitchen.
If it’s clogged with damage and chemicals, large-sized ingredients can’t get through, right?
Unfortunately, 99.9% of Hyaluronic Acid serums out there only use one size – often too big to get through the clog.
In contrast, Rejuvenate is “multi-weighted” and it has both large and small-sized Hyaluronic Acid…
Large enough to act on the surface. But most importantly, small enough to penetrate through the blockage, to nourish down to the deepest layer of your skin…
Letting you rejuvenate and repair from the inside out.
✔ Second, it's formulated with nature's most potent anti-aging ingredients, such as:
- Tremella Mushroom: A 1000-year-old secret from Chinese medicine that deeply moisturizes your skin.
- Purslane: A powerful shield against sun damage, fading age spots.
- Aloe Vera: Delivers vitamins deep into the skin, supporting elasticity.
And compared to many products out there that either:
✖ Skimp on ingredients
✖ Use sticky, greasy formulas
✖ Contain skin-drying fragrances and alcohol
✖ Use potentially harmful fillers like Phthalates (that don’t just irritate the skin, but have been linked to scary health issues like breast cancer!)
Rejuvenate also stands out by using safe, science-backed, and organic anti-aging ingredients at the most potent doses.
That’s why I always recommend Rejuvenate first.
It's the ONLY proven anti-aging serum that leverages these powerful components while being "multi-weighted."
This unique combination produces dramatic, visible results.
If you want to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, look visibly younger, and get compliments like my patients and me - then you should give Rejuvenate a try.

#2 Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Complex
While NOT multi-weighted and doesn’t use different sizes of proven anti-aging ingredients to reach the deepest skin layers…
This Youth Activating Serum is a well-loved product.
It has garnered a loyal following for its powerful anti-aging benefits such as:
- Targeting wrinkles
- Softening fine lines, and
- Fighting dullness
Similar to Inblair’s Rejuvenate, when I used the Advanced Génifique serum, it gave my skin quick results - an instant visible glowing effect.
Plus, their self-loading applicator makes it easy to apply the perfect amount of serum.
I felt that Advanced Génifique was also fast-absorbing, which left my skin feeling smooth and soft, without any sticky residue.
I’m slightly prone to blemishes, but the Advanced Génifique didn’t break me out, so I feel it can be suitable for acne-prone skin.
Unfortunately, it does contain some fragrance and some alcohol.
So if you’re prone to dryness and irritation, this may not be suitable.
Remember to do patch testing to see how your skin tolerates it.
While it lacks the intense moisturizing effect of Rejuvenate's Tremella Mushroom or Purslane’s sun protection, this serum still boasts an impressive blend of active ingredients.
This includes:
✔ A one-sized Hyaluronic Acid for hydration
✔ A high-quality Vitamin C complex5 which has been shown to help brighten the skin, promoting a radiant, glowy complexion.6
✔ Bidifda Ferment Lysate, which has been shown to support the skin's natural barrier, improving its overall radiance and healthy appearance.7
While Lancôme's Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Serum delivers remarkable results, it falls just short when compared to Inblair’s Rejuvenate Face Serum which offers an exceptional non-irritating formulation along with multi-weight potent ingredients.
Nevertheless, Lancôme's serum remains a strong contender for those seeking effective and luxurious anti-aging skincare.

#3 Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair
Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex is a tried-and-true classic in the world of anti-aging skincare.
Since its introduction in 1982, this overnight Hyaluronic Acid serum has been formulated to work while you sleep.
It works by targeting:
✔ Fine lines
✔ Wrinkles, and
✔ Uneven skin tone
Which then reveals a more radiant, youthful complexion.8
The serum is designed to support the skin's natural repair process during the night, making use of the following ingredients:
- Bifida Ferment Lysate - Taken from Bifidobacterium, Bifida Ferment is known to be a powerful antioxidant and has been shown to help strengthen the skin barrier.
- Caffeine and Chamomile - This helps protect the skin against environmental stressors.10 11
- Glycerin and Squalane - Ingredients often praised for supporting skin hydration.12 13
Unfortunately, while it’s a true classic, it hasn’t made use of the “multi-weight” technology that Inblair’s Rejuvenate Face Serum has.
This means these ingredients aren’t provided in different sizes (big and small) to go beyond the surface and target the foundation of your skin.
I felt that Advanced Night Repair has a silky texture that glides effortlessly onto the skin, leaving a bright, dewy glow. This does mean that it takes a bit longer to absorb and can feel a bit greasy which some may find annoying.
I generally prefer fragrance-free products as they tend to be less irritating on my sensitive skin, so I’m a big fan of Estée Lauder’s scentless formulation.
However, it does contain some synthetic dyes, including Red 4 (Ci 14700) and Yellow 5 (Ci 19140), which may be a dealbreaker for some customers who prefer more natural products.
While it doesn't quite reach the top spots compared to Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Serum or Inblair’s Rejuvenate Face Serum…
The Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex delivers that instant glow that we expect from a Hyaluronic Acid serum.

#4 The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
For those seeking a budget-friendly option without sacrificing quality, The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Serum is a great choice.
While not multi-weighted and only uses one-sized ingredients, it uses Hyaluronic Acid’s 5 forms for intense skin hydration.
This is a brand that many of my younger patients adore for its straightforward, no-frills approach to delivering effective results at an affordable price.
Here’s why:
✔ This well-formulated serum combines the benefits of Hyaluronic Acid with the added nourishment of Vitamin B5.
✔ It works to help retain your skin’s moisture and improve the overall appearance.14
✔ It also has Vitamin B5, also known as Pantothenic Acid, which is known to offer additional support for hydration and the skin's natural barrier function.15
I would only recommend using this serum at night as it can feel quite sticky and tacky - not great for using under sunscreen or makeup!
The first few times I used this serum, I did feel some stinging and slight irritation.
This may be because of the Citric Acid included.
Or it may have just mixed poorly with the other skincare products I use in my routine. For this reason, I would recommend that anyone with sensitive skin exercise caution when using this product.
The main benefit of this serum is the hydration that it promises to deliver, so if you have dry skin, this could be the product for you.
The ingredient list is simple and free from unnecessary fillers and fragrances, with Hyaluronic Acid as the second ingredient listed.
Although it isn’t as effective as other serums listed, The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Serum is a solid option for those looking to incorporate Hyaluronic Acid into their routine without breaking the bank.

#5 Drunk Elephant B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Serum with Hyaluronic Acid
Just like Ordinary Face Serum, Drunk Elephant's B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Serum focuses on intense hydration.
It aims to support the skin's natural barrier and maintain a healthy-looking, youthful complexion.
While not available in both large and smaller sizes (or molecular weight) to create an inside-out effect like Rejuvenate, this serum is:
✔ Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, designed to support powerful hydration that helps to plump up the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
✔ It also contains Watermelon Extract and Niacinamide, which are praised for helping to encourage a visibly healthy and hydrated complexion.16 17
✔ It’s formulated without fragrances and silicones, which helps make it suitable for most skin types.
I personally found it very hydrating, even when applying it on dry and flakey skin, I felt like it retained that moisture on my skin and it felt instantly hydrated even with the first application.
The serum's lotion-like texture glides onto the skin and absorbs well. Because of the consistency, it’s somewhere between a serum and a lotion.
It’s a nice product to add to your morning routine. It can be used as a daily moisturizer, instead of having to apply a moisturizer after applying your serum. You can skip that moisturizer step with this product altogether.
Unfortunately, it does contain Chlorphenesin - a synthetic preservative that is listed as a moderate irritant by the Environmental Working Group (EWG).18
Therefore it may not be suitable for those with sensitive skin.
Drunk Elephant is a brand that prides itself on clean, effective formulations, and its B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Serum is no exception.
With its focus on hydration and skin health, it's an excellent addition to any anti-aging skincare routine.
While I like using this product, I do feel there are better options out there. That’s why B-Hydra™ ranks after the others.
